Back Cover Possibility

I'll have an eventual full cover prototype.

Updated Back Draft

I will have more of my son's Minecraft story soon. Here's a newer, more condensed version of back cover information.

Only two weeks have passed since Jimmy and Annie, still only nine-years-old each, had thwarted Etyouth’s takeover of Washington D.C. Now, two mysterious boys with unique powers confront Jimmy and Annie. After leaving a trail of destruction, the two boys vanish into a green triangular spacecraft. Meanwhile, Jimmy seeks out his parents, who are unable to recognize him. Distraught, Jimmy yearns for a family of his own.

Stricken with a lethal, incurable illness, Jimmy is taken to an island by a band of children with super powers. Treated for the disease, he meets Mama who declares Jimmy as the leader of the Evolved Children, dubbing him their “Wohali.” Jimmy’s identity splits into two. His newer, more sinister side takes control over him and he becomes a willing participant in Mama’s plans to exterminate all people on Earth—including his best friend, Annie Marshall. Can Jimmy overcome the evil spirit inside him and spare his friend and the Earth from a disastrous fate?

My Son's Minecraft Story, Part 1

My son Brayden wrote this in third grade. It's a Minecraft fan fiction story based on the popular game that I have yet to understand. I'll add more chapters in other posts.

Lost in Minecraft

Chapter 1: Herobrine

One summer day in Minecraftia, I was mining some diamonds with my friends Jaden and Wyatt. As we were mining, Wyatt spotted something in the distance and said, “I think I see something!”
“What?” I asked.
“He-He-He-He-Herobrine!” Jaden studdered.
We all lost connection so I called to see what was going on. “What happened?” I asked. “My body is in Minecraft.”
Jaden answered, “Me, too!”
Wyatt replied, “Weird.”
I said “Woaaoh-ahhh! Oh, hi, am I in Minecraft now, too?”
“Yes, indeed,” answered Wyatt.
“Guys, I think I see a village!” Jaden said.
“Good, let’s go check it out.” I replied.
We walked along a path and found the village. “Hello,” said a villager. “My name is Nicholas.”
“Mine is Joaquin!” said another villager.
“Can we spend the night?” I asked.
“But, of course!” answered Nicholas.
We all walked up to a house and slept. When we woke up we yawned and stretched and then continued on our adventure. “I’m hungry!” I moaned.
“I got some steak with me.” Jaden told me.
“Thank you!” I said as I ate it up really quickly.
Then, Wyatt suddenly yelled, “I see a mountain we can live on!”
I led everyone towards the mountain. When we were on the top, we noticed a mansion not too far away. “Ahhh…travelers,” a man said decently.
“Hey, who are you!?” I asked.
“I’m Abraham!” he answered. “Come in, come in.”
“Woahhhh!” I said very dazzled. “This is soooo coooool!”

Back Draft

No, this has nothing to do with Backdraft the movie. This is the first draft for what will go on the back cover:

Only two weeks have passed since Jimmy and Annie, still only nine-years-old each, had thwarted Etyouth’s takeover of Washington D.C. Now, Jimmy and Annie are confronted by two mysterious boys, both with unique powers, who attack Annie while on the way to a school field trip. After leaving a trail of destruction, the two boys vanish into a green triangular spacecraft. Meanwhile, Jimmy is on a quest to seek out his parents. With completely new identities, his parents are unable to recognize Jimmy. Distraught, Jimmy yearns for a family of his own. Stricken with a lethal, incurable illness, Jimmy is taken to an island a thousand light years from Earth by a band of super powerful kids, simply called the Brothers and Sisters.

Treated for the disease, he meets Mama who declares Jimmy as the leader of the Children, dubbing him their “Wohali.” Mama considers the Children a race of Evolved humans destined to replace the Earth’s billions of other inhabitants. Jimmy’s identity splits into two. His newer, more sinister side takes control over him and becomes a willing participant in Mama’s plans, which involves the eventual deaths of all the Unevolved people of the Earth—and his best friend, Annie Marshall. Can Jimmy overcome the evil spirit inside him and spare his friend and the Earth from a disastrous fate?
